Yatedo is a free people search engine which browses the web in order to find publicly available information about persons.

Yatedo helps you create a global profile that summarizes your public activity on the web. This global profile allows you to be found and contacted for all kinds of opportunities.

Yatedo enables you to manage your digital identity by finding out what public information is available about you on the web.

Yatedo allows you to search for all kind of people with all kinds of information you have about them whether it’s their interests, companies, functions, cities they live in, school they went to…

Yatedo helps you to discover new people by browsing your friends social graph whatever social network (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, …) they are in.

How do I identify my profile?

1) Yatedo is an easy to use people search engine, you can easily find your profile by typing your first and last name in the search bar:

2) Once the search results appears, you can select your profile by clicking on the “See Profile” link.

How do I claim my profile?

1) First you have to identify your profile, if you don’t know how please read the How do I identify my profile? section.

2) On your profile page claim your profile by clicking the “This is Me” link.

3) You will be asked to log into third parties services in order to verify your identity.

Yatedo uses social profiles such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter to identify that you are the owner of the Yatedo profile that you are claiming. If your social profile doesn’t exist anymore please refer to the “How do I delete my profile section”

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile, go to your profile page and click the “Edit your profile” link.

How do I delete the information from the source?

1) On the right side panel of your profile page, select “Web Pages”:

3) Contact the source publishing the information to have it removed. Yatedo will automatically update your profile.

After removing information from the original source, the information can still appear on Yatedo because it is temporarily stored in our cache .

How do I delete my profile?

If your profile no longer exists on the internet and you can not carry out its identity checks on Yatedo:

1) Copy your profile link.

If you don’t know how to find your profile, please read the how do I identify my profile section.

2) Go to http://www.yatedo.com/index/privacy to delete your profile.

1) Go to the account section an click the “Privacy Settings” link.

2) Select your options and save.

What is Yatedo?

Yatedo is a free people search engine which helps you find and contact anybody throughout the web. Whether you are looking for friends, longtime schoolmates, people that share your interests, someone to hire, or even celebrities, Yatedo makes it easy for you to find and connect with them.

How are the results organized?

Unlike conventional search engines or other people search engines, Yatedo shows people results for each query. Each result is displayed as a personal card with summary information and a link to a more complete profile. This way Yatedo is able to tell homonyms apart.

What kind of information does Yatedo show?

Yatedo only proposes to consultation information that are publicly available on the web. All these information can be found by searching on a conventional search engine such as google, yahoo or others.

Why should I create an account on Yatedo?

Creating an account on Yatedo allows you to take control over your profile by verifying your identity. You will then be able to modify it by adding or deleting information.

I have never created an account on Yatedo. Why do the search results show a profile about me?

Yatedo browses the web to find publicly available information. This information is then compiled into an easy to read profile and shown in the search results.

Does Yatedo find private or password protected information?

Yatedo can not find private or password protected information, it only finds information that has been made publicly available to everybody on the web.

Why is the information on my profile not up to date?

Due to the beta program, automatic updates takes more time than usual. If you can’t wait for it to be updated automatically you can log in to your account and update it manually.

Can I delete my Yatedo profile?

Of course you can delete your profile, for more information please read How do I delete my profile?.

Can take control over my Yatedo profile?

Once you searched for yourself and found your profile on Yatedo, you can take control over it by clicking the “This is me” button. Follow this link for more details : http://about.yatedo.com/manage
